Our Founder

Pallavi Swadi is a former finance professional turned designer whose attention to detail, passion for minimalist looks, and a sharp focus on quality inspired her to build two timeless and impactful brands.

Pallavi's global exposure at Fidelity Investments, her extensive stint with sustainability at WBCSD, coupled with her impressive business acumen, led her to fill the white space for a quality kid's clothing line with COO COO. Her belief in less is more was also extended to her eponymous clothing label, PALLAVI SWADI. It comprises timeless essentials that can be styled from Nine-to-Wine and are also environmentally friendly.

Not one to be bogged down by the lockdown, Pallavi decided it was essential to solve the discomfort of masks in the market. She worked on creating the signature PLV mask that is elegant, uber-comfortable yet protective. Apart from the COO COO & PALLAVI SWADI clientele, the PLV masks are being worn by employees from numerous leading Indian companies to keep themselves safe.

Thus, with a firm belief, one can truly succeed in what they put their mind to; the determined Pallavi aspired to follow her heart and create products that are always looking to make a difference.

The Brand 

Classic, clean design crafted from natural fabrics with exquisite workmanship and hand embroidered detail is the foundation behind all PALLAVI SWADI designs.

She is inspired by the modern woman. Blending traditional artisanship with fashion-forward innovations, Pallavi Swadi aspires to create feminine, timeless designs that evoke confidence and individuality for every woman.

The ideology behind the brand is to create collections that comprise of elegant and timeless wardrobe essentials that can be styled from work to weekend which are also environmentally responsible. The collections are designed keeping in mind the “PLV Woman”, who is fashion-forward and loves a customized garment - crafted to perfection in a rich natural fabric along with a personalized monogram or brooch.

The Pallavi Swadi philosophy is rooted in exceptional quality, classic craftsmanship and unexpected details. Being a slow fashion brand, our classic silhouettes are designed using cotton fabrics, with a minimum wastage policy, and each piece is hand-embellished using ethically sourced stones.

We have a retail store located within our design studio in Nariman Point, Mumbai where we conceptualize all our collections.  The store was designed to create a private and comfortable space for our customers to come in to pick a PLV customized garment that’s right for them.
